Whenever I talk to Small Business Owners, often I hear

“I want to do better, but unfortunately my plans or strategies have not yielded the results I want/need/expect”

  or

“I have tried this/that strategy/program and it’s been OK but I am not getting to ideal”

That is why this business session is so important - when you have already tried everything and not getting the results you expected.

Most of our intentions are to do better in our business, and this session will help you identify exactly what areas you need to work on in your business. It will also help you to know what to do when/if you get stuck and finally, you will get the confidence you need to do better and achieve better in INCOME, FREEDOM and SCALE.

If we want to have our ideal, we must look at what we are doing and who we are being.

As usual, the session will be presented by Alan Desselss, former President and CEO of Volvo Cars Japan. Alan has a wealth of experience and knowledge in helping businesses to realise their full potential.

To maximise and personalise the benefits for each participant attending, the session will be limited to a maximum of 20 participants.

This session is a MUST for all business owners no matter how big or small the business, so make sure you book your place early to avoid disappointment.

What will Noosa look like in 2050 – and what does that mean for your business and our community today?

For SMEs, these changes are not something to start thinking about in 2050. They are already influencing the decisions business owners, employers and community leaders need to make today.

The Noosa Chamber of Commerce & Industry invites you to a special Noosa 2050 “The Cost of Doing Nothing” Business Breakfast designed for Noosa’s small and medium-sized business community — join us for one of the most important conversations this region will have.

  GUEST SPEAKER

  WHAT DOES NOOSA'S FUTURE HOLD?

This is not simply a conversation about Noosa in 2050. It is about the business and community decisions we need to start making now.

  • Where will your future workforce come from?
  • How will an ageing population change your customer base?
  • What happens when younger workers and families can no longer afford to live locally?
  • Will Noosa have the education, training and career pathways needed to retain young people and develop the skills businesses will need?
  • How will population and demographic change affect demand for sporting, recreational and community facilities?
  • How will changing demographics affect consumer spending?
  • What new opportunities will emerge for businesses and organisations that understand what is coming?

  WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Business owners, retailers, hospitality and tourism operators, health professionals, schools, education and training providers, sporting organisations and clubs, property and development professionals, professional services firms, employers and entrepreneurs.

The breakfast will also be relevant to young business leaders and emerging professionals, and to anyone involved in decisions about Noosa’s future workforce, education and skills, sporting and community facilities, housing, services and long-term economic prosperity.

  WHERE NOOSA'S FUTURE GETS DISCUSSED.
